The district championship of the D-Juniors in the Football Association of Vorpommern-Greifswald was held on the Strasburger sports field on the Reuterkoppel on June 25, 2025. In this exciting event, six teams fought for the title of the district champion 2024/25, with Stralsund, the Greifswald and the Strasburg D-Juniors played an exciting tournament. Involved and with a strong performance, the players of SV Murchin/Rubkow fought a head-to-head race and finally kidnapped the title with 13 points from five games-four wins and a draw. The U-11 team of Greifswald landed in second place with 11 points, closely followed by the Youngstern from Stralsund, who were rewarded with 6 points and third place. Your balance sheet: a victory, three draws and a narrow defeat against Murchin/Rubkow with 0: 1. In their only positive encounter they were able to defeat SV Gützkow 2-1.

The E-Juniors of the SpVgg Torgelow-Ueckermünde closed the tournament without a single point-a result that surprised many. Developments around the D-Juniors are not only limited to this championship. From the 2025/26 season, a new game format called twin game will be introduced. Here, seven players per team compete in every division, which in particular promotes the game flow.
