Goal scorer Bolz: The star from Züsedom dreams of promotion!

The football world in northern Germany is flourishing and two very different stories are sparking conversations among fans. On the one hand there is the accurate Thomas Bolz from SV Züsedom, who has taken the District League II by storm. On the other hand, there is the exciting game between FC Hansa Schwanewede and SV Aschwarden, which will make football hearts beat faster.

Thomas Bolz topped his club's top scorer list with an impressive 17 goals last season in the District League II, putting him in a strong third place in the league. Since his entry into the world of football at the tender age of 8 at Rollwitz and a move to the youth team at Pasewalker FV at the age of 10, he has experienced a lot. After his time at Pasewalk, where he was active in men's football for two years, Bolz has now been playing for SV Züsedom for 16 years, having previously spent a short time at Kickers Halstenbek. There he celebrated his greatest sporting success with promotion to the district league. His goal? The promotion with SV Züsedom to the top division of the district football association, even after the team took a solid fourth place last season. Incidentally, Bolz is also active off the court, works as an electronics technician and has an interest in table tennis and swimming. As a fan of Bayern Munich and Hansa Rostock, he has also chosen a favorite player: Toni Kroos. Nordkurier reports.

Exciting derby action

Football fans in Schwanewede were treated to a thrilling encounter last weekend. FC Hansa Schwanewede celebrated a clear 2-0 win against SV Aschwarden in the Heidestadion. The match winner was Ricardo Willenbrock, who contributed to his team's success with two goals. Already in the 19th minute he separated the net with a clever shot from the inside post, and in the 53rd minute it was a header from a perfect cross from Phillip Barnat that secured the second goal.

Coach Marc Coldewey was very satisfied with his team's performance. His players showed a dominating presence on the field, which was also reflected in their high possession of the ball. Despite a few injured players and absences, SV Aschwarden had some good chances, including a header from Nico Köster and a solo effort from Matthis Wiechers, which missed the goal. The referee Joachim Pankoke led the game well and the spectators, who numbered around 120 in the stadium, were able to look forward to a good derby. Weser-Kurier reports.
