In the first week of the autumn holidays we worked hard at the Rehberge skate park in Bernau. The Weitzel Sportstättenbau company from Sternberg near Schwerin took over the work and is impressing with a fresh update for all skaters. The new security measures and a comfortable user experience are now at the top of the list of improvements.
The central point of the work was the new fall protection in front of the climbing wall. Here, around 32 square meters were equipped with a shock-absorbing surface to minimize the risk of injury. In order to take the skaters' wishes into account, an additional five square meter connection area was created. This new anthracite surface not only provides a stylish looking update, but also eliminates tripping hazards that have caused some minor accidents in the past. The work was completed after just three days, which was good news not only for the planners but also for the waiting skate fans.
