Physiotherapy in a listed building: new opening in Wismar!
Something exciting is happening in Wismar: the new practice for physical and occupational therapy “Team 3” will open on October 15th. The site manager, Stefanie von Skrbensky, who at the age of 29 already has an impressive career as a trained occupational therapist, runs the new center at the historic Dankwartstrasse 31. The official start of operations is on October 16th. “I am very pleased to be able to work in a listed building,” said von Skrbensky enthusiastically about the new premises that Quarree GbR has set up in two renovated old town houses between Dankwartstrasse and Papenstrasse.
The practice was previously located at Dr.-Unruh-Straße 2c in the Alloheim senior citizens' residence. “Team 3” has thus found its first home in the picturesque old town of Wismar. The team, consisting of ten therapists and two administrative staff, is known for its specialization in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
A piece of history
The new space not only represents medical care, but also a deep-rooted local history. The property on which the practice is located once belonged to the respected Thormann merchant family. And now, with five therapy rooms, Stefanie von Skrbensky not only wants to help patients, but also wants to keep a piece of this history alive.
“Team 3”, which was founded in Dortmund in 2017, now operates a total of twelve locations with 16 practices throughout Germany. The new practice in Wismar will not only be an important point of contact for local residents: the collaboration with the NeuroNetwork Germany will also ensure care for patients in care facilities in the region. This makes it clear that not only therapy, but also community support is very important here.

The opening of this practice comes at a time when demand for quality medical care is high. Many people appreciate the personal support that the on-site team offers.
