Investigations to search for people

The search for missing people is a serious matter. According to information from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), people are considered missing if they are inexplicably absent from their whereabouts and the danger to life or life is accepted. Especially in the case of minors, as in the case of Jaimy, acting is immediately done. Especially in acute situations where there is an urgent need for action, large -scale search measures can be initiated by the police and emergency services. This happens, for example, in this case.

The statistics from the BKA already mentioned show that there are currently around 9,420 missing people in Germany, with 200 to 300 new cases being recorded every day. Over half of these cases still clear in the first week. In 2024 around 18,100 children were missing, and fortunately 96.7 % of these cases clarified by the end of the year.

In such times, it is once more evident how important community and attention are. Let us hope that Jaimy will be found safely soon.
