Eintracht Braunschweig, the traditional football club from Lower Saxony, is celebrating a remarkable anniversary this year: On December 15, 2025, the club will look back on a proud 130 years of club history. For this occasion, a very special jersey was presented that not only awakens nostalgic feelings, but also emphasizes the connection to one's own history.

The anniversary jersey, released on December 20, 2025, forgoes modern effects and comes in a simple but elegant all-white design. This choice of color is reminiscent of the club's beginnings, when they played in white shirts in 1895. Blue and yellow, which are now considered club colors, were added later. With a central element, namely the representation of all previous club coats of arms, the design pays respect to the many facets of the club's tradition.

Symbolism and design

The red lion, a powerful symbol of pride and identity, is featured prominently on the chest of the jersey. The design is complemented by subtle blue and yellow accents on the sleeves, which build a bridge between the past and the present. Fans of the club actively participated in the design of the anniversary jersey, which underlines the close connection between the supporters and the club. Wolfram Benz makes it clear that this jersey is not just a piece of clothing, but also a sign of identity and cohesion within the Eintracht family. Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration with the sponsors BRAWO GROUP and Lease a Bike, who do not allow their logos to be visible on the jersey.

The special jersey will be officially worn for the first time at the start of the second half of the season against 1. FC Magdeburg on January 16, 2026. It is now available in the online fan shop, with prices starting at 84.95 euros for adults and 64.95 euros for children. The women's cut is also new on offer, which shows that Eintracht Braunschweig is increasingly getting female fans on board. The edition is limited to 1,895 pieces, a homage to the year the club was founded.

Eintracht Braunschweig was founded in 1895 as FuCC Eintracht 1895 and is a founding member of the German Football Association (DFB). The home stadium, the Eintracht Stadium, has been in use since 1923 and has an impressive capacity of 24,406 spectators. The club had its most successful years in the 1960s and 1970s, when, among other things, it won the 1966/67 Bundesliga championship. Even after ups and downs, Eintracht Braunschweig remains an integral part of German football culture and has a large fan base. In the 2011-12 season the club recorded an average attendance of 21,396 spectators.
