Celebrate Research: Thousands at the Summervibes Festival in Braunschweig!

A hot weekend for research: At the Technical University of Braunschweig, the event "Explore. Celebrate. Play." Instead of attracting more than 7,000 visitors. In bright sunshine and summer temperatures, the atmosphere on Campus Nord was simply magnificent. Above all, the Summervibes Festival , which took place on Saturday, attracted over 4,000 young people.

The campusexperience started on Friday evening in the Audimax with a colorful science slam. Six talented young scientists presented their projects and delighted the more than 500 spectators. Jennifer Pierick secured the coveted first place with her vivid post about "Lama Drama in the Lab". This type of science communication, which is becoming increasingly important, promotes the dialogue between research and society and helps to strengthen trust in scientific knowledge, as the

The crowning conclusion was a university sports festival on Sunday afternoon, which was also very well received. Here the participants were able to try out new sports and demonstrate their skills in tournaments. Such shared experiences strengthen the feeling of community and offer a welcome change from the academic routine. The cooperation between the TU Braunschweig, the AStA and other partners such as the Stadtjugendring Braunschweig shows how important such events are for the local community.

The Summervibes Festival is not only a celebration of science, but also a place of exchange and inspiration for all ages, through the commitment of the Ecki Wohl residential Foundation and the Braunschweig Hochschulbund.
