Magniviertel celebrates flea market and shopping Sunday on September 28th!

Anyone who wants to be out and about in Braunschweig at the weekend will find it difficult not to notice the special charm of the Magniviertel. On September 28, 2025, this cozy corner of the city will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace with a colorful flea market and Sunday shopping.
The flea market takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the courtyards of the Magniviertel, more precisely in Kuhstraße, Karrenführerstraße, Ritterstraße and Ölschlägern. Here bargain hunters have the opportunity to get hold of one or two rarities and get a good deal. And the best part? You can also enjoy the fresh air and the lively atmosphere that this district exudes.

While the shops open their doors on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the “trend sports experience” in the city center is causing an additional sensation. On Saturday, September 27th, the city center will be the venue for a sports festival from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., which is all about exercise and activity. A true feast for the senses!

Diverse program in the Magniviertel

In addition to the flea market, the Magniviertel also has other delicacies to offer. At the same time, the 6th Braunschweig Apple Day takes place behind the Magnikirche. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can get to know new apple varieties while cycling, making cider and tasting. An event that is particularly suitable for families.
