Children's fire brigades in the district of Celle: game without limits enthusiastic!
Last Saturday, June 14, 2025, the exciting event "Game Without Borders" of the children's fire brigades took place in Jarnsen, in the beautiful district of Celle. In bright sunshine and in a good mood, 31 groups, consisting of 5 or 6 children, occurred in order to demonstrate their skills in various disciplines. The event was organized by Andrea Suhr, the department head for children's fire brigade, and was a real culmination point for the young fire brigade talents from the region. Celler Presse were reported that a total of 12 stations were set up, at which the children were able to show fire brigade techniques as well as skill and general knowledge.
The exciting tasks included balancing a ball on an ambulance by a course and the pantomimal representation of fire brigade devices. The recognition and assignment of traffic signs and mastering the stable side position in the sleep were also on the program. Creating leisure activities such as buttons, a playground visit and the use of a water hose provided additional fun. The end of the event was very emotional with the award ceremony around 2 p.m., because every child received a medal, and the best three teams were awarded cups.

The same day also took place on the same day, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Altenhagen local fire brigade and the 15th birthday of the youth fire brigade. Around 30 groups took part in this great event, which led over a 10 -kilometer route around Altenhagen. Not only fire brigade knowledge, but also sporting skills, was put to the test here. A highlight was the first place among the fire brigades for the 4th train of the Celle-Hauptwache local fire brigade, which was also allowed to take home the city cup of the Celle city fire brigade. The team of the rifle hosts of the Altenhagen shooting group was also able to look forward to first place among private teams. Overall, it can be seen that such events are ideal for demonstrating both skills and team spirit.

It was an all -round successful day for the fire brigade and its committed junior staff, which became more than fair for the motto "Game Without Borders".
