From the last week of July, road users in Delmenhorst will have to prepare for massive disruptions. Bremer Straße will be closed in sections for important renovation work, which is expected to last until September. This was necessary in order to avoid overlaps with a parallel construction site on the B75 between Delmenhorst and Bremen, such as the one Weser courier reported.
The renovation includes the complete renewal of the asphalt surface layer as well as the repair of curbs and gutters. Particular attention is paid to accessibility in the area of the intersection of Bremer Straße/Am Fuhrenkamp/Asternstraße: the curbs should be lowered here. Initially, the section between the Inkoop entrance and the intersection in question will be fully closed, meaning that pedestrians will still have access to the construction site.
