Under the leadership of coach Daniel Eberhardt and assistant coach Manuel Acar, the JSG players were able to impress in the group phase. After a draw against TSV Kronshagen, five wins followed: 3-0 against SV Ahlem, 2-0 against SFK Dresden, and even a 4-2 against FSV Bentwisch. The team showed great strength and determination before advancing to the round of 16, where they took another victorious step by defeating TSV Bützow 2-0.
