Last night, a violent attack in Emden kept local authorities on their toes. Two unknown perpetrators threatened a 20-year-old man with a knife and stole his wallet. Police describe one of the perpetrators as being around 1.80 meters tall, of northern European appearance, who was dressed entirely in black. The second perpetrator is said to be around 1.60 meters tall and was wearing a white T-shirt and looks southern European. The investigation is ongoing and officials are asking for the public's help. A worrying trend
Unfortunately, this attack is not an isolated incident. A similar incident occurred on Brückstrasse a few months ago when a 67-year-old man was also threatened with a knife. This attack took place on March 2, 2025, when the perpetrator, with a southern appearance and dark clothing, approached the victim and demanded cash.
