The fans of the Regionalliga Nord can look forward to: On July 25, 2025 at 7 p.m., the new 2025/26 season will be inaugurated with an exciting opening game between Kickers Emden and SV Meppen in the Ostfriesland Stadium in Emden. It is a duel between the two teams who, despite their rivalry, are placing great emphasis on the promotion round and are hoping for a strong season.
