SV Meppen sweeps through: 4-0 win in Hamburg delights fans!
On August 31, 2025, the games in the Regionalliga Nord once again caused a lot of excitement and emotional moments. The day started full of excitement with the first and very interesting game between Altona 93 and Flensburg, which ended with a clear 2-0 for Altona. In front of 1,892 spectators, the fans had to wait until the 79th minute for the first goal, which finally came from Gianluca Przondziono. Tayfun Can went one better shortly afterwards and made the final decision in the 85th minute. FC Altona moves into mid-table, while Flensburg continues to struggle with relegation.
But that wasn't all the league had to offer! SSV Jeddeloh remained unbeaten in their seventh game this season and beat Bremer SV 1-0. In front of 725 spectators, Kasra Ghawilu converted a penalty kick in the 40th minute. Bitter for Bremer SV: In the final phase they had to vacate the places of Pascal Manitz and Noel Werner due to red cards. This means that Jeddeloh remains at the top of the table and Bremer SV is missing out on valuable points to work its way up the table rankings.
Diverse results and opportunities for advancement
Another exciting match took place in Emden, where Phönix Lübeck triumphed 3-1. Arthur Inaka gave Emden a comfortable lead in the 13th and 40th minutes before Theo Schröder scored the next goal for Emden in the 59th minute. But Inaka still had one more goal up his sleeve and tied the score with his third goal in the 61st minute. Lübeck secures its place in the top group, while Emden continues to look upwards and is stuck in the bottom of the table.
Oldenburg secured a convincing 5-2 win against Schöningen in front of 2,459 spectators, impressively showing that they not only want to work for the midfield, but also for more. Other teams such as Norderstedt, who beat Drochtersen/Assel 2-0, and Lohne, who won 1-0 against St. Pauli II, were also able to gain important points and expand their positions in the secure midfield.
