Einbeck camp Cup: Top football teams are fighting for victory in July!

FC Grone has big plans: From July 5th to 13th, 2025, the season preparation tournament around the "Einbeck camp Cup" takes place on the “Am Rehbach” sports field. The organizers invite numerous teams to demonstrate their skills. A total of 6 teams will fight for the coveted title in two groups, including both newcomers and experienced clubs.

In the "Bakery Hermann Group", the football fans expect the following teams: the 1st SC 1911 Heiligenstadt, a league promoted, the SG Hettensen/Ellierode, which has freshly descended from the district league, and FC Gleichen. In the "Sparkasse Göttingen Group", the regional league team 1. SC Göttingen 05, the emerging SG Lenglern and the host FC Grone compete. Each team plays with a game mode of twice 30 minutes per game in their group “Everyone”, while the placement games are played in normal playing time of two times 45 minutes.

Already on the first day of the tournament, July 5th, there are exciting matches:

• 4:00 p.m.: SC 1911 Heiligenstadt - FC Hettensen/Ellierode
• 5:30 p.m.: FC Gleichen - 1. SC 1911 Heiligenstadt
• 7:00 p.m.: FC Hettensen/Ellierode - FC Gleichen

On July 6th, further encounters are on the program:

• 4:00 p.m.: 1. SC Göttingen 05 - FC Grone
• 5:30 p.m.: SG Lenglern - 1. SC Göttingen 05
• 7:00 p.m.: FC Grone - SG Lenglern

The placement games are scheduled for July 11th and 12th, as well as the final day on July 13th. It is noteworthy that the 1. SC Göttingen 05 and the 1st SC 1911 Heiligenstadt already have other obligations on July 13, which is why their placement games are brought forward.

other exciting events on Rehbach

The anticipation of football in Grone is great, not only because of the Cup camp. On June 22, 2025, the DIT Cup for Ü32 teams will already take place on Groner Rehbach, which starts at 10:00 a.m. Here teams such as RW Braunschweig, SCW Göttingen and the host FC Grone compete in two groups with five teams each. The final should take place around 2:30 p.m.

Just a day later, on June 23, JFV West Göttingen organizes a U19 anniversary tournament. Numerous young teams compete to determine the best kicker among themselves. The tournament also starts at 10:00 a.m. and the final is expected at 2:45 p.m.

preparation for the new season

The summer vacation is just around the corner and amateur footballers, both in the senior and in the junior area, are already preparing for the new season. A 5-week training program is currently being offered in cooperation with the DFB trainer magazine football training. This program focuses on conditional aspects, technical-tactical content and important game strategies and is valuable support for the teams who want to adapt to the upcoming challenges. Contents for every training day are available for download and help to make the teams fit for the new season.
