Creative children's festival in Goslar: Discover and be amazed on June 21st!
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Creative Children's Festival will take place on the Kaiserpfalzwiese in Goslar from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This event promises a colorful hustle and bustle that invites children and young people to try out, discover and be amazed. Under the motto “Little researchers are big,” 19 clubs, associations and institutions will present their offerings to show young guests new leisure options.
The festive opening at 1 p.m. will be accompanied by Mayor Urte Schwerdtner and all sorts of popular characters such as Arielle, Merida and Batman. These prominent fellows will certainly captivate not only children, but also adults. There is also an exciting raffle for the young society, in which participation is required after collecting stamps at at least eight different stations. A running pass can be picked up at the city youth welfare information tent.
Diverse offers and highlights
The little “adventure trip” becomes unforgettable not only by collecting stamps. Numerous attractions await the children: large play equipment, craft stations, face painting and a diverse culinary offering from various caterers ensure that there is no chance of boredom. The dance group J.E.T. will provide musical entertainment at 4:30 p.m. Mios and J.E.T. Novas from MTV Goslar. Here the little researchers can show their enthusiasm for movement and dance.
Another highlight of the children's festival is the tombola, which was launched thanks to committed sponsors such as the Goslar Community Foundation, the Sparkasse Hildesheim Goslar Peine and H. C. Starck. Raffle passes must be submitted by 4:50 p.m. and the draw will take place at 5 p.m.
International campaign with “Pulse of Europe”
The group “Pulse of Europe” from Goslar will also be active as part of the festival. The team will be on site on June 25th to design cards together with the children. Peace doves and European symbols can be seen on these cards, accompanied by kind greetings from the little artists. These creative works are then distributed to schools in Goslar's twin towns, including Forrester (Scotland), Windsor (England) and Brzeg (Poland), to promote exchange between children.
Participation in this campaign was very positively received by parents and led to lively discussions. Finding new friendships and exchanging greetings across national borders make the children's festival a special experience not only locally but also internationally.
