Renovation of the K35 in Wolfshagen: Soon there will be freedom of traffic!
The construction progress on Kreisstraße 35 between Wolfshagen in the Harz and Schäderbaude is nearing completion. How regionalheute.de reported, the opening to traffic should take place on Friday afternoon. The Lautenthaler Straße/Kreuzallee intersection will then be passable again, which will be a welcome relief for many road users.
The renovation work in Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains continues to progress quickly. From July 10th, the asphalt surface layer from Hauptstraße 1 to the Lautenthaler Straße / Kreuzallee intersection will be renewed. This section will be closed to traffic during this work. The residents have already been informed accordingly and can prepare for a rapid restoration of the traffic situation.
Planned construction phases and diversions
The second construction phase starts on Monday, July 14th. This will run from the intersection of “Die Meine / Hauptstraße” to the halfway entrance to “Knokewiese” and will also be closed. Traffic will be redirected via the Riesberg and the L 515 to Langelsheim and Goslar. Residents of Heimbergstrasse and Breslauer Strasse / Knokewiese are still allowed to exit in the direction of Langelsheim/Goslar. The planners are showing a good knack for keeping the disruption to residents as low as possible.
Modern technologies in road construction
The rapid progress on the construction site is supported, among other things, by the latest technology. The new SD2500CS PROTAC spray paver from Dynapac is used, which can apply emulsion and asphalt in one operation. How bpz-online.de explains, the use of this machine not only reduces material costs, but also construction times and noise. A quiet and environmentally friendly option that is particularly popular with local residents.
With a maximum spray width of 6.5 meters and 25 independent nozzles, the spray paver ensures even application of the layers. In addition, a modern heating system enables the emulsion to be heated quickly, which further optimizes the work processes.
Collaboration and innovation in road construction
The construction projects benefit from the continuous development in the industry. At the end of September, Bomag held an event at which innovative machines and technologies for road construction were presented this-magazin.de. Not only new machines were presented, but also application-related technologies that optimize the use of asphalt.
The mixture of modern manufacturing techniques and continuous training of specialists will ensure that the road will soon shine in new splendor. Residents can look forward to improved traffic quality, and the environment also benefits from the innovative approaches being pursued here.
