New McDonald's in Hameln: groundbreaking for a modern fast food experience!

Hameln, Deutschland - On Thursday morning, the groundbreaking for a new McDonald’s branch took place in Hameln. This is built directly on the opposite side of the Hastenbecker Weg. McDonald’s's move was officially confirmed only last week. The decision for the new location was already made at the end of last year, which shows that there is great interest in improving the restaurant infrastructure in the region. The franchisee Maike and Emanuel Neuenroth have already promised some exciting improvements.

One of the most remarkable innovations will be the new two -lane McDrive, which will elegantly run around the building. Access is via Marienthaler Straße with two descents: one to the west side of the property on Hastenbecker Weg and the other over Marienthaler Strasse. This concept is intended to significantly defuse the arrival and departure problems of the previous location in Hameln. The privately run restaurant is built on a property with an area of around 4000 square meters. The earthworks are currently underway, the conclusion of which will enable a more precise assessment of the completion.

The construction time of the new McDonald’s branch is estimated at 17 weeks from construction. During the moving phase, the restaurant is only closed for a few days to bring kitchen utensils to the new location. The old location is then sold in the bidding process. The new building is expected to offer space for around 95 inner and 100 outside seating, the terrace will also be three times the size of the existing. A “Playland” is planned for the little guests. In addition, the restaurant is equipped with four production lines for menus, a large lobby and an app order that enables the delivery service to the car. Not to forget that the new building will come up with a solar system, modern cold stores and 40 parking lots, some of which will have e-charging stations.

Particularly interesting: 13 of the parking spaces are right on the park strip, where the local tuner scene gathers. Maike and Emanuel Neuenroth have been running the McDonald’s branch since 2016 and they also know them from other cities such as Bad Pyrmont, Einbeck, Giesen, Alfeld and Holzminden.

But something is happening not only in Hameln. The groundbreaking ceremony for a new McDonald’s will also take place in Warburg on September 9th. The Neuenroths are also grateful for the quick approval of the construction project and the great cooperation with the city of Warburg and the local craftsmen.

Around 50 people are to be employed in this new branch in Warburg. Applications have already been accepted and the first settings have already been made. As part of the topping -out festival, there were humorous classification by construction manager Danny Rimbach and Marcel Holl, which were announced on the roof of the shell. Maike Neuenroth took over the company in 2016 from its father, who had been working as a franchisee since 2003.
