Volleyball youth: MTV Bad Pyrmont is celebrating a fantastic start to the championship!
The regional youth volleyball championships started in Hameln on September 8th, 2025 with exciting games for the U16 and U20.

Volleyball youth: MTV Bad Pyrmont is celebrating a fantastic start to the championship!
Last Sunday was the starting signal for the regional championships for male and female volleyball youth 2025/26. This year, the U16 and U20 age groups opened the championship round, and MTV Bad Pyrmont took on the challenge with flying colors. The local female U16 team invited five teams to their own hall and ensured exciting matches.
Coach Susanne Kremers' U16 team was able to boast an impressive performance. The team, which consists of the players Asya Inaltekin, Marleen Kirsch, Philippa Lehzen, Hannah Lesser, Feline Mour, Enna Pommerening, Tabea Reick, Elina Riemer and Charlotte Wagner, played their way through the preliminary round with four clear 2-0 victories.
Successful U16 record
Here is an overview of the results of the U16 games:
- Sieg gegen ASC Göttingen: 25:20, 25:21
- Sieg gegen Weserbergland Volleys: 25:23, 25:7
- Sieg gegen TC Hameln: 25:16, 25:20
- Sieg gegen VT Südharz: 25:7, 25:12
Thanks to these outstanding performances, the U16 team secured first place in their group. A real reason for joy for the entire volleyball community in Bad Pyrmont!
At the same time, the MTV Bad Pyrmont U20 team competed in Weende on Sunday morning. Ten teams competed to secure one of the four coveted places for the next round of the championships. Impressive volleyball was played here too!
Strong U20 team
The U20 players were Amelie Scheller, Jette Jäger, Victoria Kleinsorge, Zoe Muslijaj, Olivia Polozun, Monique Ratta and Alexa Reick. They also had an excellent record, winning all of their games:
- Sieg gegen VSG Düngen-Holle-Bodenburg: 25:16, 25:12
- Sieg gegen Weserbergland Volleys: 25:16, 25:12
- Sieg gegen ASC Göttingen: 25:13, 25:11
- Sieg gegen SG Borsum-Harsum-Achtum: 25:8, 25:15
In the final they beat TC Hameln with a clear 2-0 (25:14, 25:18) and thus moved into the next round. Together with TC Hameln, Giesen Grizzlys and VSG Düngen-Holle-Bodenburg, the U20 team will now represent the southern district.
Looking at coming challenges
But that wasn't all! While the U14 in Bad Pyrmont and the U18 in Göttingen meet to qualify for the Superquali, volleyball fans can look forward to the regional championships in the coming months. Here are some important dates:
- U12: 16./17. Mai 2026 (Ausrichter gesucht)
- U13: 13./14. Juni 2026 (Ausrichter: TV Rottenburg)
- U14: 18./19. April 2026 (Ausrichter weiblich: NVV, männlich: SBVV)
- U16: 28. März 2026 (Ausrichter weiblich: VLW, männlich: NVV)
- U18: 19. April 2026 (Ausrichter weiblich: SBVV, männlich: VLW)
- U20: 15. März 2026 (Ausrichter weiblich: NVV, männlich: SBVV)
These events offer an excellent platform for young talents who want to prove themselves not only on a regional but also on a national level. There is a lot of excitement and it will be exciting to see how the teams perform in the coming weeks!
