Construction work in Heeßel: full closure from Monday, patience required!

From Monday, August 18th, the final construction phase of the through-town road will begin in Heeßel. As the Hanover Region announced, this section includes a complete closure of the area between Rohrkampsweg and the HEM gas station. However, residents and road users can breathe a sigh of relief: the HEM gas station remains accessible via the eastern access, while the western access is closed.

The construction work means a partial closure of the road between the gas station and the end of construction at the exit of the town in the direction of Burgdorf. However, traffic can flow in both directions, which provides some relief. From the junction with Ahrbergenweg there will be a complete closure, although this path is only accessible to residents via Tiefenauweg. It is not possible to drive through, highlighting the need for diversions.

Detours and traffic information

The diversions for traffic are already signposted and lead via the B3, B188 and B443. Those responsible also make it clear that bus traffic will remain unchanged and that all regular stops will be served. Drivers who do not want to park in the closed areas still have the option of parking on the side of the road outside of the full closure.

The current construction work is on schedule and expected completion is scheduled for autumn 2025. The Hanover region will inform promptly about the exact completion date. We would like to thank the road users and residents for their patience during this time, which can not only be stressful but also pose challenges for residents.

Health information

This option allows patients to communicate with their doctor via various platforms such as Doximity, FaceTime or Google Duo. However, an appropriate account should be set up prior to such consultation, with assistance provided prior to the appointment if required. For patients who come directly to the practice, some basic precautionary measures must be observed.

When you arrive at the practice, you should avoid personal contact and wash your hands. To limit the spread of the virus, face coverings are required in common areas, and patients with severe symptoms such as cough or fever above 101°F are asked to go to a hospital emergency room. Full information on testing availability is available on the New Mexico Department of Health website.
