E.W. Kuhlmann Foundation awards 30 Germany scholarships in Hildesheim!
On June 20, 2025 the time has come: the E.W. The Kuhlmann Foundation announces that a total of 54,000 euros are available for the 2025/26 academic year to award 30 Germany scholarships to master's students at the University of Hildesheim. This funding is specifically aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged students in the crucial final phase of their academic career. The foundation has been supporting students at this university since 2021 and thus shows a big heart for future generations of skilled workers. As idw-online reports, it is hoped that the scholarships will provide noticeable financial relief while the students write their final theses in the summer semester of 2026.
Markus Langer, the foundation's head of fundraising, emphasizes: "These scholarships are not only financial support, but also a sign of appreciation for the students' achievements." Students who are in the 3rd or 4th semester of their master's degree and want to submit their work in the coming summer semester can apply. The application runs until September 2025, followed by the scholarship award ceremony on November 5, 2025.
A foundation with tradition and a good cause
The E.W. The Kuhlmann Foundation was founded in 1997 by Edith and Edmund Kuhlmann with the aim of strengthening the private donation culture to promote higher education. Today the foundation is one of the five largest sponsors of the Deutschlandstipendium in Germany, which is involved in nine universities.
It's not just the scholarships that are at the forefront, the awarding of graduation prizes is also part of the foundation's commitment. 500 euros are awarded for a bachelor's degree and even 1,000 euros for a master's degree. The highlight? The winners are simply drawn so that the competition remains fair. [Mystipendium].
