Eintracht Hildesheim celebrates: clear win against Eider Harde!

A great handball afternoon in Hildesheim! On November 3rd, 2025, Eintracht Hildesheim clearly won 27:18 (12:5) in an exciting duel against HSG Eider Harde. This means that the Hildesheimers have made a leap forward in the table of the 3rd League North-East and are now in third place. It was a game that was a real pleasure for Eintracht not only in terms of points, but also in terms of atmosphere, as the Volksbank Arena was well filled with 1,312 spectators and created a fabulous atmosphere.

For the guests from Eider Harde, the start to the game was anything but optimal. The first timeout was called after just nine minutes and a deficit of 4:1, followed by a second timeout after 13 minutes with a score of 7:1. Eider Harder's strategy of using an additional field player posed challenges for the Hildesheim defense, but in the end this tactic was not successful enough. At halftime the hosts led by a comfortable seven goals.

The players in the spotlight

The Hildesheim players particularly stood out: Piet Möller scored a total of six goals and converted three of the seven meters awarded to him. But the other teammates didn't miss out either: Philipp Wäger and Jakub Tonar each contributed three goals, while Lukas Quedenbaum and Florian Billepp also scored four and three goals. On the other hand, Malte Abelmann-Brockmann was the best shooter for Eider Harde with six goals.

The first half was remarkable for the goalkeepers of both teams, as both the Hildesheim and Eider Harder keepers each saved three seven-meter penalties. This shows that the fighting spirit and performance of the goalkeepers were crucial in influencing the entire round.
