Cabaret star Matthias Brodowy brings new program to Hildesheim!
On Sunday, August 31st, it's that time again: the talented Hanoverian cabaret artist Matthias Brodowy will perform his new program "Lettuce" in the Guter Hirt Church in Hildesheim. Starts at 7 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. As already Leash lightning reports, the performance is all about the Good Shepherd social lunch and promises entertainment with a deep sense of humor.
For around two decades, Brodowy has thrilled audiences with his sharp observations of society and humorously addresses deeper philosophical topics. In his new program he deals, among other things, with the Big Bang and the chaos in the human head. The combination of comedy, music and thoughtful aspects makes his performances particularly appealing. Brodowy, who started out as a studied church musician and theologian, has already won numerous prizes in his career, including the German Cabaret Prize and the Prix Pantheon according to Reservix.
Special event for a good cause
The appearance in Hildesheim has a special background: the event supports the social lunch of the Good Shepherd Church. Entrance fees are 18 euros, concessions 9 euros, and tickets are available at the church office, Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pre-orders can be made by phone at (0 51 21) 52 56 7 or by email at info@guterhirt.de.
Brodowy is not only known as a cabaret artist, but has also made a name for himself as a radio host and emcee. His career in cabaret began when he decided against officialdom and went on stage instead. In addition to his new program, he has already developed over half a dozen solo programs, including a best-of program called “Until You Like It.”
