At that time, a plant manager informed the police after seeing suspicious packages on the pallets. So far, however, there have been no arrests in connection with the current find.

Increase security in the port of Hamburg

The drug problem is not just a local issue, but an international one. Hamburg, as the third largest port in Europe, is particularly at the focus of international drug import smuggling. In order to be better prepared to face these challenges in the future, the new port security center (HSZ) was opened.
