The start of the new season of the women's football league and state league is tough: the first match day brought bitter disappointment for all teams from the Stade district. How Fupa reported, not a single one of the teams from Stade was able to reward themselves with a win.
The Ahlerstedters were up against last year's third-place team and initially started defensively. They only managed to score a goal in the final stages, but it wasn't enough for a point. The current feeling reflects the frustration that many players feel after their first few games.
Bitter defeats for the local women
O/O also made things exciting against Osterholz. Luisa Wassermann was able to celebrate in the first half, but a quick goal conceded after the break made hope of a win disappear. Osterholz dominated the second half and decided the game with a strong performance in the final minutes.
The Ahlerstedters were unlucky when they lost to Elbmarsch in the last minute. Nadja Kühl scored the victory for her team with her second goal, which further depressed the mood in Ahlerstedt.

It was a particularly difficult evening for Eintracht, who were overrun by photographer Selina-Marie Schulz right at the start against VSV. She scored the first goal in the first minute, followed by further goals and finally made the final score 5-2.
Challenges for the teams
The results of this first match day suggest that the teams from the Stade district still have a lot of work to do. After all, the season is still young and with a good hand the players may soon be able to get things going.
