The courses on offer include civil engineering, computer science, media and IT management as well as administrative sciences, which are particularly interesting for future district inspector candidates.

Training with perspective

The training not only offers motivating insights into administration, but also flexible working hours and individual training programs. The dedicated training team ensures a supportive environment in which trainees have the opportunity to get actively involved. “Special events such as the health day or the introductory week require creativity and teamwork,” say Lea Zimmermann and Elena Lübberstedt in their experiences about the practical phases in the dual study program, as reported on [district Lüneburg].

The trainees' day begins flexibly and the tasks are varied. From organizing events to external appointments, such as court appearances or animal husbandry inspections, there is always something to do. And not only that - during the university phases, the courses take place in Hanover, where topics such as environmental law and social law are dealt with, which opens up a broad horizon.

Dual studies in public service

A dual degree in public service combines academic training at universities with practical experience in the company. This is important not only for administration, but also for jobs in schools, universities and other public institutions. In the public service, a distinction is made between employees and civil servants, which offers an exciting perspective for many. According to Stuzubi, dual study programs are a prerequisite for many professions, and students can become working students or civil servants on probation, which further increases job opportunities.
