Two-star chef Robin Pietsch as host in Lüneburg's Gastronomy Week!
From June 23rd, the renowned two-star chef Robin Pietsch will take on the role of host in the new competition week of the popular Kabel Eins show “Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal”. How Small talk entertainment reports, five restaurant chefs will come together in Lüneburg for this exciting week to test their cooking skills and the quality of their restaurants.
The opening week begins in the “Anno1900” restaurant, where host Martin Lühmann ensures the guests’ physical well-being with hearty dishes. Robin Pietsch, who celebrated a personal success at the recent presentation of the new “Guide Michelin Germany”, will be seen daily on Kabel Eins at 5:55 p.m. until June 27th.
Versatile program
On the following days the program will be varied. Day 2 takes the participants to “Ristorante Da Salvo”, where host Viviane spreads Italian flair. On Wednesday, the participants pay a visit to the golfer restaurant “Beavers” in Winsen (Luhe), where the hostess Delva welcomes the guests. On Thursday, Davide presents Mediterranean fusion cuisine in the “Kutscherstube” before the week culminates on Friday in an exciting finale in the “Marina Café” with a view of the Ilmenau River. There, restaurateur Manuela offers an exquisite fine dining experience.
As host, Pietsch will not only evaluate the culinary achievements, but also influence the mood within the group in order to determine the overall winner at the end. This promises to be an exciting and culinary diverse week.
Michelin Guide 2025: A reason to be happy
The chef has another reason to celebrate with the release of the new one MICHELIN Guide Germany 2025. This year, a total of 341 restaurants in Germany were honored, including two new 3-star restaurants: Haerlin in Hamburg and Tohru in Munich. The guide highlights the quality and creativity of gastronomy and shows a noticeable trend towards plant-based cuisine and sustainable practices.
In this edition, seven restaurants in particular are pleased to receive new stars: five new 2-star restaurants, including Pietsch's restaurant in Wernigerode, and 30 new 1-star restaurants. This year too, five MICHELIN Special Awards were presented for outstanding achievements. The Young Chef Award went to Luis Hendricks from Pietsch in Wernigerode and the Service Award to Daniela Oos from the Wein- und Tafelhaus in Trittenheim.
