In addition to Oldenburg and Bremen, the Leibniz University of Hanover and the Hannover Medical School (MHH) also submitted their application.
The regional ministers of science are optimistic. Lower Saxony's Minister of Science Falko Mohrs praised the cooperation between the two universities and the success of the approval of the Cluster of Excellence. Support also comes from the Bremen Senator for Science, Kathrin Moosdorf, who emphasized the importance of this cooperation. Both ministers met on June 21 with the university lines and speakers of the Cluster of Excellence.
The funded clusters
