From music to fairy tale miles to environmentally conscious events, there is something for everyone. Friday, June 13th, heralds a great weekend.

The start of the city festival in Georgsmarienhütte takes place on the Red Square. From Friday to Sunday, guests can expect a beach bar with live music, a cocktail bar and an exciting Boccia tournament. The festival starts with the band "Maraton" on Friday evening and on Saturday offers indicable sounds with "Caugh Indie Act". On Sunday there is a morning pint with the Borgloher wind orchestra, which begins at 12 p.m. Admission is free, so nothing like there!

highlight: ÖKOMAILE at Ziegenbrink

Another highlight for the environmentally conscious visitors: the "ÖKOMAILE" event is inside. This will take place on Saturday, June 14, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Ziegenbrink community center. Despite a usual implementation in May, the event shifted to June. Supported by Fokus e.V., the ÖKOMAILE offers a variety of actions in which environmental initiatives and organizations present their hands -on activities. The musical program is also impressive, with appearances by artists: inside like Naomi, Birte Stolte and Hertzcasper. It's worth a look - admission is free! On the same day, June 14th, the Fairytale Festival will take place in the Osnabrück castle courtyard. From 3 p.m. a versatile music program with hip-hop, electronic indie and punk will be offered, and without any entry costs. The AStA of the University of Osnabrück invites everyone to be carried away by the sounds.
