Silent Night in Burgpark: Peine celebrates the Silent Music Party!

The second edition of the Silent Music Party in Peiner Burgpark took place on June 14, 2025 and attracted around 600 to 700 guests in midsummer temperatures. Participants from cities like Celle and Hanover celebrated until shortly after midnight and enjoyed a special evening in the illuminated castle park. The event, organized by Peine Marketing GmbH under the direction of Anja Barlen-Herbig, was received consistently positively.

As soon as they entered, visitors received their colorful headphones, which broadcast in three different channels: green beats from the 80s and 90s, red rock sounds and blue techno sounds from the DJ collective Techno Bunker. This innovative form of celebration allowed guests to remove an earbud to chat over dry cocktails and snacks - an ideal mix of music and social interactions.

Dancing and celebrating in the castle park

With an entry fee of 10 euros, which included the use of the headphones, the pricing for the event was attractive. Around 250 tickets were sold in advance, which underlined the high level of interest in this unique party night. The evening began at 8:00 p.m. and ended shortly after 1:00 a.m., just in time before a thunderstorm hit the region.

The atmosphere was exuberant and it seems that the Silent Music Party was not only an event for dance enthusiasts, but also a great experience for all ages. Snacks, cocktails, beer and wine complemented the generous offering. Many visitors were enthusiastic about the organization and the atmosphere in the castle park and praised the Silent Disco concept, which enables both individuality and diversity when celebrating.

The future of silent discos

As part of a global movement, silent discos, as they have become popular through silent-disco.de, among others, are an ecologically sustainable and flexible way to organize events. The special appeal is that several DJs can appear on different channels at the same time. This ensures that each guest can choose the style of music according to their own preference.

The creative idea behind Silent Music Parties is not only in demand for celebrations, but also has potential for other events such as yoga, fitness or even conferences. The individual music selection and volume control make the concept attractive and could become an integral part of the North German event landscape in the future.

So at the end all that was left to say was: The evening in the Peiner Burgpark was a complete success and the feedback from the participants couldn't be more positive. We can only hope that the next Silent Music Party won't be long in coming!
