What's going on in Gifhorn? There's a lot on offer here on the weekend from November 7th to 9th! There is great anticipation of an exciting program, as numerous events attract visitors to the region.
Things are about to get going on Friday, November 7th! The band DI6E will shake up the stage at the Kultbahnhof Gifhorn from 8 p.m. Admission starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at famila and other advance booking offices. If you prefer something a little quieter, you can browse the women's flea market in the Weyhausen village community center from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - 55 exhibitors present their wares here and entry is free. The Hankensbüttel Mixed Choir and Shorty Brass will also delight guests with a free concert from 7:30 p.m.
Lots of highlights on Saturday
Saturday is all about music and creativity. Van Damned and DR3IER will perform at the Grille youth leisure and education center from 8 p.m. Tickets cost 10 euros in advance or 12 euros at the box office. At the same time, the Quatsch Comedy Club takes place in the Gifhorn town hall - the fun starts here too at 8 p.m. Tickets are available in advance!
If you like something artistic, you shouldn't miss Arnulf Rating's cabaret in the auditorium of the Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium. There is also something for the little visitors: On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., children can let their creativity run wild with Christmas crafts. And then there is the photo exhibition “Songlines – Hikes in the Australian Outback”, which opens in the Gifhorn Castle Historical Museum from November 8th. Many collectors also have the opportunity to look for treasures at the Lions Club Gifhorn Südheide book flea market on November 7th and 8th in Kaufland!
Family and pet friendly finale
Sunday, November 9th, will be incredibly exciting! There is a Christmas market for dogs at Tankumsee from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - entry is free, but don't forget your dog vaccination certificate. There will also be a concert with Antje Rietz in the Gifhorn town hall at 4 p.m. and an autumn concert by the Heidechor Gifhorn-Neubokel in the Nicolaikirche.
To round off the weekend, flea markets in Wolfsburg and Isenbüttel invite you to browse. The last flea market of the 2025 season will take place in Wolfsburg from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., entry costs 1 euro. In Isenbüttel, a flea market is being organized in the Aldi parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a stand fee of 5 euros per meter.
And last but not least: In Braunschweig, the Mumme Gourmet Mile will provide culinary highlights with various dishes and drinks from November 7th to 9th. So there is something for every taste!
