The University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden plans to expand the service of the volunteers. The board of the university clinic, Prof. Michael Albrecht, emphasizes the great importance of commitment, especially in times of crisis such as Corona pandemic. The more need for support in the patient environment, which also exists in Uelzen, is all the more necessary.

In Dresden, for example, the green men and men have been the important contact point for single patients who work in the children's clinic and acute geriatrics since 1997. The need grows and it is planned to expand the group to a total of 20 volunteers. This impressively shows that the work of the green women and men not only makes an indispensable contribution to recovery and well -being of patients in all of Germany.
