Sunshine and hits: Mross invites you to Always on Sundays”!
What could be nicer than starting off at Europa-Park on Sunday with good music and a bright blue sky? This weekend, Stefan Mross invites you to his popular show “Always on Sundays” for the second time this season. This week the event will take place under the best conditions, as the weather forecast is promising with 33 degrees and sunshine. Viewers should not forget to pack their sun hat and sunscreen to protect themselves from the summer heat, az-online.de reports.
The first edition of this season, which took place a week ago, unfortunately suffered somewhat from unpleasant weather. But no one will remember that when the audience can rock their feet again on Sunday to the sounds of Hansis Hinterseer, Beatrice Egli and many other stars. These artists are part of a great line-up, which is also enriched by “Höhner”, Pia-Sophie & Daniel Lopes, Mitch Keller and Francine Jordi. The folk music band “Die Trenkwalder” as well as solo artists such as Max Weidner, Tanja Lasch, Tim Peters, Sonia Liebing, Miguel Gaspar and TABI will also be featured.
An anniversary to celebrate
“Always on Sundays” is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year! The first broadcast of the anniversary season recently took place in Europa-Park. Stefan Mross has been presenting the show for ARD for two decades and has won many fans over the years. The show was initially launched by Max Schautzer in 1995, but Mross has been at the helm since 2005. In the first year the show was not even located in Europa-Park; this location was only declared a permanent venue in 1998, as swr.de explained.
The current season offers viewers a wide range of entertainment. Over the summer, a total of 120 singers will show what they can do in the show. A brand new section, 'Dishes with History', will allow some celebrities to prepare dishes that have personal meaning to them. Other highlights include the hands-on game “Love is in the air,” in which one winning couple wins a romantic dinner.
The excitement continues
An exciting element of this season is the summer hit parade, in which 13 candidates compete against each other. The television audience decides who will move on to the next round - a smart move to actively involve viewers and make voting exciting.
For everyone who doesn't want to miss anything, regardless of the live show, “Immerwieder sonntags” is broadcast every Sunday at 10 a.m. on Erste and is also available in the ARD media library. So you never miss the latest performances by the pop stars and the numerous surprises that await viewers every week, like on schlagerpuls.com.
