Uelzen, Deutschland - Uelzen is preparing for a grand city festival! From 1 to 3 August 2025, the city celebrates a colorful festival of joy and entertainment that has something to offer for all generations. As the Uelzen press reports, the festival will open on Friday, August 1, at 6 p.m. at the Old Town Hall. The anticipation is noticeable, because Uelzen turns into a true festival valley with music, fun and a lot of good mood.

A colorful mix of program items awaits visitors who can look forward to live appearances on three stages of live appearances, dance groups and music bands. traffic restrictions and parking spaces

Before the fun starts, the Uelzeners have to prepare for some traffic restrictions. From Wednesday, July 30th, at 6:30 p.m., Kleine Mühlenstraße, Schuhstraße and the parking lot on Fritz-Röver-Straße will be closed. From Thursday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m., further road closures will be added, including Lüneburger Straße, Doktorenstraße and Veerßer Straße to Turmstrasse. After all, the Ceka car park remains accessible via Schmiedestraße. The residents are asked to use alternative parking facilities, since the bus stop in the Gudesstraße is not approached during the holidays.

In addition, the weekly market on Lüneburger Straße is on the plan on Saturday, August 2nd. The Heiligen-Geist-Straße, the Schnellenmarkt and Schmiedestrasse are still passable so that visitors can get to the event.

The music of the 80s and 90s will be sounded in particular at the DJ Place on Gudesstraße corner of Schuhstrasse from Friday and Saturday, from 8:00 p.m. On Sunday afternoon, visitors can expect a hit event, which is presented by Chairdance with Lilly Feske.
