Ulrike Malischke wins gold: a victory that inspires the shooting club!

There is good news from the North German shooting landscape! Ulrike Malischke, a shining star of the Jastorf shooting club, won the gold medal in small-caliber shooting at 100 meters at the German Championships in Hanover on October 4, 2025. With an impressive score of 316.8 points, she clearly took the lead, crowning her excellent season. Several training sessions and the investment in high-quality shooting equipment have paid off for Malischke.

The German Championship, which took place from October 2nd to 5th, 2025, proved to be a real highlight of the shooting season. This year, over 6,000 athletes from various disciplines competed at the Olympic shooting range in Hanover, making the event one of the largest in Germany and providing a lot of excitement. “The championship is a celebration for the whole family,” like dsb.de emphasized.

An impressive vintage

Ulrike Malischke has been supporting the Jastorf shooting club since 2020 and has made remarkable progress in a very short time. Her commitment, regular participation in training evenings and additional practice sessions has increased her performance enormously. A big step in her development was the modernization of her home shooting range together with her husband, which now functions as a digital training facility.

But it's not just Malischke who can look back on a successful championship. The NSSV was able to win a total of 10 medals: 3 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze. On the first day, Hartmut Schuld and Rose-Marie Dohmeyer secured the first precious metal places, while things continued to improve on the second day for Dohmeyer, who also triumphed in the 100m small-circle rifle edition. This was followed by further successes at the event, which kept the team from Lower Saxony in high regard.

Recognition and awards

Ulrike Malischke has also qualified for the “AZ Athlete of the Year” award and will be nominated for “Mensch 2025” for her remarkable commitment. The board of the shooting club not only praised her commitment, but also her constant development and the psychological support from a DSB-A trainer in order to continuously improve her performance. Her constant striving for improvement has finally paid off and is bringing her the recognition she deserves.

The deadline for submissions for “AZ Female Athlete of the Year” is December 13th, and the excitement is already palpable. What does the future hold for Ulrike Malischke? The next German Championship in Hanover is already planned for October 1st to 4th, 2026, and the shooters are in the starting blocks to demonstrate their skills again. The future remains promising for the talents of North German shooters.
