Rasta Vechta in the cup

Rasta Vechta has shown itself strongly in the past two seasons and reached the quarter-finals in each case. Although the club was able to do without a few players last year, it still showed an impressive performance against the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig on October 12, 2024. The team presented itself in impressive form with an 89:68 victory in the Volkswagen Hall in front of 2,363 spectators, including around 100 from Vechta. Joel Aminu stands out as the top scorer with 25 points, while captain Joschka Ferner returned from illness and led the team despite the absence of four other players.

The statistics speak for themselves: Rasta hit 50% of his three-point shots (10 of 20) and only committed nine turnovers in the entire game. Coach Martin Schiller praised the team cohesion, while Aminu emphasized the focus on team performance. The next challenge is on October 18, 2024 against the Skyliners.
