The countdown is running! Next weekend, June 28th and 29th, 2025, Harkebrügge will be the venue for the 25th OM Cup for E-Junior footballers. The atmosphere is sure to be great, as the region is expecting more than 1,500 children and carers as well as thousands of parents and spectators. The Waldstadion is being transformed into a football paradise and the anticipation is already palpable.

The ceremonial opening takes place at 1 p.m., where the teams are welcomed with an impressive march. But before the ball rolls, the German national anthem is on the program. The first games start at 1:45 p.m. The weather promises 26 degrees and lots of sun, perfect for a great football weekend, which was prepared in a relaxed manner by the SV Harkebrügge organizing team. They have their hands full to get the event off without a hitch. NWZ Online reports that the anticipation for the event is already palpable.

A strong field of participants

A total of 112 teams will take part, including talented kickers from across the region. The draw for the groups took place on June 4th in the Schützenhaus in Harkebrügge, supported by district administrators Johann Wimberg and Tobias Gerdesmeyer.
