Münsterlandtag 2025: Discover AI as the key to the future!
A look into the future of artificial intelligence will be taken on November 8, 2025 as part of the Münsterlandtag, which will take place in the VEC halls in Vechta. This event, organized by the Heimatbund für das Oldenburger Münsterland (OM) in collaboration with the city of Vechta, has the motto “Artificial Intelligence. Opportunities, Risks – Future?!” and promises to listen to anyone who wants to explore the potential and challenges of AI.
The event starts at 9:30 a.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. and a varied program until around 5 p.m. Professor Dr. Marco Barenkamp, an expert in the field of artificial intelligence, will start the day with a keynote speech. Afterwards, well-known experts such as Philipp Krapp (Director of Digitalization), Verena Witte (education researcher and data literacy expert) and Max Beckmann (strategy consultant for AI and IT security) discuss the diverse areas of application of AI. In addition, the OM student prize will be awarded for special projects in the educational sector that deal with topics related to AI, history, economics and culture.
Entertainment program and registration
In the afternoon, a cultural program awaits the guests, including performances by the Oythe Young Orchestra, the show group “In Motion”, the Langförden children's choir as well as the Cäcilia Langförden men's choir and the theater group “Theater for Everyone”. Children up to 12 years have free entry. The registration process is uncomplicated: Those interested can contact us by phone at 04471/947722 or by email at info@heimatbund-om.de or use the online form on the Heimatbund website.
The influence of artificial intelligence
But what does artificial intelligence actually bring us in practice? The real estate industry is increasingly choosing AI-powered solutions for all phases, from market analysis to marketing. A seminar on this topic, offered by IREBS Academy, shows how companies can not only become more efficient through the use of AI, but also save costs and human capital. Participants learn practical applications and develop individual knowledge about the right tools.
The questions addressed in this context are as exciting as they are essential: from the basic definition of what AI is to the specific data that is required. Such training offers a deep insight into the possibilities of AI and teaches participants how they can use AI in a targeted and creative manner in a corporate context.
In summary, the Münsterlandtag 2025 will not only be a platform for proper discussion about AI, but will also pass on a crop of cultural and educational inputs to visitors. Anyone who is interested in this topic should not miss the opportunity to immerse themselves in the future of technology for a day.
