SFN Vechta signs dream player Lovro Sindik for defense!
A new player is hunting for points for SFN Vechta! The club has signed Lovro Sindik from BSV Rehden. At 33 years old, the experienced central defender brings a lot of knowledge and playing experience with him. Exactly what the team needs to be successful next season. Loud FUPA Sindik has already proven that he is one of the solid players in the regional league, with an impressive 189 appearances, including for Babelsberg 03, Lok Leipzig and Berliner AK.
Sodik’s experience spans many positions. In the Oberliga he collected a further 119 games for Inter Leipzig, Greifswald and, most recently, BSV Rehden. He was also captain at Rehden and played 32 games last season, 31 of which he started, scoring two goals and preparing two more. Coach Ingo Soremba described Sindik as an “absolute dream player” and emphasized his quality and personality.
A dream player with a lot of potential
Sindik’s skill set speaks volumes. He has already shown in test matches against SV Osterfeine and VfL Oldenburg that he can not only communicate and lead duels, but also shows a strong build-up game. These skills are particularly valuable for the SFN Vechta. The club will soon compete in a short tournament against TSV Wetschen and BSV Rehden and hopes that Sindik can shine there too.
The new additions to the regional league show that many teams are doing well. Another example is Paolo Maiella, who is moving from TSV Steinbach Haiger to FC Gütersloh. Maiella, who is 27 years old, has already gained a lot of experience in the Regionalliga West and was only able to gain a limited foothold at his previous clubs. Coach Julian Hesse describes him as lively and technically good, and sees potential - even if Maiella is still lacking in training, he will be given time to develop. The story can be found here Kicker.
With such transfers the competition in the regional league becomes exciting. Sindik could be exactly the impetus that SFN Vechta needs to fight their way up the table. It remains to be seen how the new signing will perform on the pitch, but the signs are good.
His move is also a sign of the ambitions of SFN Vechta. Those in charge seem to have a good knack for squad planning and show that they are willing to invest in experienced players. The season promises a lot and we are excited to see how the team comes together.
