The 5th Historical Pirate Festival at the pumping station in Wilhelmshaven promises an exciting experience for the whole family. This colorful spectacle will take place from July 3rd to 6th, 2025, which is aimed not only at big pirate fans, but especially at little adventurers and families. The event is part of the 48th weekend at the Jade and takes place in the renowned Pumpwerk cultural center, a former waterworks that now serves as an event location.
Wilhelmshaven, the maritime metropolis on the Jade Bay, is home to around 77,000 residents and is known for its harbor and its exciting maritime history. This location is Germany's first naval port, founded in 1869 by Kaiser Wilhelm I and known for its diverse leisure options, including the unique south-facing beach promenade and the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea National Park.
