An Opel Astra had left the road, drove over a traffic island and finally crashed into a traffic light. In this incident, two men who were sitting in the car were seriously injured.
The driver was quickly freed from the wreckage, but his passenger remained trapped for more than half an hour. In addition to rescuing both injured people, the firefighters also removed spilled fuel and secured the damaged traffic lights with a turntable ladder.
