On October 30th it's that time again: World Savings Day is just around the corner! The invites you to the big occasion Sparkasse Elmshorn Invite all children to fill their savings pots and pick up a cute reward dog. The cuddly dog “Malou” is distributed to the little savers who come to the main office at Königstrasse 21 with a full pot.
The Sparkasse's trainees are ready to collect the savings at the children's counter. The deposits are placed in a safe bag and later credited to the savings account. Small gifts for the children and a wheel of fortune where they can win additional surprises provide even more joy. Of course there is also freshly made popcorn – a real hit!
Opening times and special offers
The Sparkasse is open on World Savings Day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Deposits can also be made in the branches on Koppeldamm and Hainholzer Damm during regular opening hours. There is a very special gift for KNAX Club members that can be picked up with a KNAX ID or Sparkasse card.
An exciting aspect of World Savings Day is its long tradition. The first was in 1924 during the International Savings Banks Congress in Milan, and since then the goal has remained: to encourage people to invest their money in banks. World Savings Day is not only an exciting event for children, but also an important reminder of the importance of saving.
