Kiel will be the venue for the Baltic Sea Darts Open from July 11th to 13th, 2025, an exciting event as part of the European Tour. Here 48 players compete for a total prize money of an impressive £175,000, which is provided by the PDCEurope is aligned. Fans can look forward to top-class participants, including darts stars Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and defending champion Rob Cross.
The third edition of this high-class tournament will be held in the Wunderino Arena. Live broadcasts can be seen on SPORT1 as well as PDC TV and DAZN. The event begins with the first round at noon on Friday, and the seeded players take their place in the competition on Saturday. On the final day, Sunday, the competition starts at 1 p.m. with the third round and includes quarter and semi-finals as well as the grand finale in the evening program.
Game mode and prize money
The game mode is once again knockout-based, with the first rounds being played in “Best of 11 Legs”. The semi-finals will be played on best of 13 legs and the final will be played on best of 15 legs. All legs are played in double-out mode, which makes the tournament particularly exciting.
