A dream magic tree for children: celebration day with music and flea market in Nortorf!

A very special day is coming up in Nortorf! On Sunday, July 13th, the St. Martin Children's and Youth Work Support Association invites you to a colorful festival that will especially delight the little ones. The performance of the popular children's musical “The Magic Tree of Dreams”, created by Monika Ehrhardt and Reinhard Lakomy, begins in the church at 1 p.m.

In this musical, colorful dream leaves grow that are filled with stories. The forest spirits “Moosmutzel” and “Waldwuffel” make the leaves ring and take the audience into a magical world. The children's and youth choir of the Evangelical Nortorf, under the direction of Markus Hansen, will transform this dream into a musical experience. Admission to the performance is free, but the support association welcomes donations to support children and youth work.

Flea market for small sellers

From 2 p.m. there will be a flea market for children and young people around the church under the motto "Be there! Clean up your room!" stands. Here the young vendors can sell toys, books and games - but clothing is excluded. Spontaneous participation is welcome, but you can also register at anmelde@foerderverein-nortorf.de is possible.

By the way, there is coffee and cake for parents and other visitors. And the children don't miss out either: In addition to the sales area, they can look forward to fresh popcorn and have fun in the bouncy castle. The flea market ends at 4:30 p.m. and concludes with a prayer service with Pastor Anna Trede.

A classic for the whole family

“The Dream Magic Tree” has already achieved cult status and has sold millions of copies. It first saw the light of day in 1980 and has lost none of its fascination. With new dream sheets that are intended to bring peace and reconciliation, the work remains relevant today. Whether in the historic Spiegelpalast or in other performances, the musical has been captivating young and old for years. Children's musical Leipzig reports on further planned productions that take up the stories surrounding the magic dream tree.

The event in Nortorf is not only a great opportunity for children to develop their own sales and presentation skills, but also a wonderful way to get involved in a community experience. This is demonstrated by numerous projects run by the Federal Music Association that aim to promote musical, social and emotional skills. Federal Music Association highlights how important such events are for the personal development of young talents.

So be there when the magic dream tree opens in Nortorf and inspires the children with their dreams and ideas!
