Lighthouse Festival 2025: A festival of diversity in Pries-Friedrichsort!

The popular lighthouse festival will be celebrated in Pries-Friedrichsort on September 7th, 2025. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can enjoy the lively diversity of the district in the heart of northern Kiel. Under the motto “From Pries-Friedrichsort for Pries-Friedrichsort”, the event aims to promote creativity and a sense of community. The festival is an initiative of numerous committed residents, associations and businesses who present their districts and the surrounding area on a fantastic day of encounters. The varied program is free and offers something for all age groups. For younger guests there is a Bambini run that starts at 11:30 a.m. and there are lots of hands-on activities for older children. Schoolchildren and various bands will provide musical entertainment at the Antennenfeld festival stage on Leuchtturmplatz. The culinary delights are not neglected either - local providers, including the Czernys coastal brewery, serve a variety of delicious food and drinks.

Versatile offer for the whole family

A special highlight will be the flea market, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At this point the stands are allocated after prior registration. Anyone who cancels can look forward to a wide range of bargains and special finds. In this relaxed atmosphere, over 20 information and participation stands will be set up by clubs and organizations, offering the opportunity to find out about local topics and commitments.

The festival is rounded off with a shopping Sunday, which runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Local traders and shops are looking forward to opening their doors and offering special promotions. In addition, the Kompass parish will offer a participation and recreation program around the Church of the Good Shepherd. The Schilksee fire department will be on display with exciting activities, while the line dancing Seagulls and the Shells cheerleaders from Schilksee will provide additional entertainment.
