Drama at the dinner table: When love becomes comedy!

A happy evening at the theater awaits all comedy lovers! It has been running since May 30, 2025 Comedy Lübeck the cheerful production “One Sentence Too Many” by Eric Assous, which can be seen until July 12th. The story follows Gaspard and Clemence, a happy couple with a son, Lucas, who is experiencing a turbulent time with his wife Manon and their 18-month-old son, Roberto. The planned romantic holiday adventure on Capri is jeopardized by a heated argument between Lucas and Manon. Her uncertainty about love for her husband and her new lover brings long-hidden secrets to light and provides plenty of tension and humor.

In this brilliant production by Eric Assous, translated into German by Dieter Hallervorden, it's all about Bernhard. He has to prevent his lover Soraya from showing up at dinner with his wife and his best friend Philipp - and of course that's not quite as easy as you think. Words and lots of energy permeate this lively comedy, which runs until November 5th.

Director Marko Pustišek not only directed the film, but also played the lead role. He is supported by Anouschka Renzi and Harald Effenberg, who are sure to enchant the audience with their performances. The first reviews praise the production as entertaining and full of unexpected twists.
