Playmobile in Lübeck: Summer full of fun for 50 children every day!
In Lübeck, the playmobile was once again an integral part of holiday life for children this summer. Every day around 50 little adventurers between the ages of 3 and 12 took part in the exciting activities offered at a variety of locations throughout the city. There were playful crafts and experiences together - a wonderful opportunity for the kids to actively spend their summer holidays. hl-live.de reports that the playmobile traveled to new locations every week and was supported with great commitment by over ten volunteers and around 20 parents.
The playmobile has been financed since 2014 by the support organization of the Lübeck Johannis Lodge “Zum Füllhorn” e.V. Heiko Wegner, the first chairman of the support organization, recently visited the playmobile and emphasized the importance of these actions for the community. “The playmobile promotes cohesion and is a valuable part of our city life,” says Wegner. There was also special feedback from social worker Daniela Kerschbaumer, who reported that many parents had been to the playmobile in their childhood and now bring their children there.
Diverse offers
However, the playmobile is not the only attraction for Lübeck children during the holidays. According to luebeck.de there is a wide range of holiday offers. These range from holiday pass campaigns that target students aged 6 to 18, to special holiday programs that help catch up on learning deficits. In addition, both daycare centers and schools are prepared for holiday care, which is a great support for many working parents.
Another highlight are the offers in the Lübeck youth hostels, which provide exciting leisure activities for children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17. From exploring nature to creative workshops and sporting activities, the possibilities are almost endless. The artistic projects such as the talentCAMPus are particularly popular and enable the children to have fun and at the same time improve their skills in German and English. More information about this can be found on the jugendherberge.de website.
Shaping a shared future
Those responsible are already working on the further development of the toy mobile. Upcoming plans include renewing playground equipment and improving the integration of children with disabilities. Wegner announced his organization's support in order to gain new cooperation partners and make the work even more fruitful. Anyone who is interested in taking an active part or receiving more information can contact Christian Marquardt, the department head of the neighborhood offices, directly.
In summary, it shows that Lübeck's children will have to experience anything but boredom during these summer holidays. Thanks to the commitment of many people involved and the variety of offerings, the city is a real hotspot for summer fun and learning together. All of this speaks for a vibrant and active community that strives for the best for the youngest.
