NDR Open Air: Free concerts in Schleswig-Holstein start in July!
A summer full of music and good mood is upon us! This year, NDR Schleswig-Holstein is presenting a series of open-air concerts that music lovers shouldn't miss. In summer 2025, the free festivals will be held in various picturesque locations in Schleswig-Holstein, including popular hotspots such as Büsum and Grömitz. The anticipation is great because the first artists have already been announced!
On July 4th, 2025, Kamrad opens the festival summer in Grömitz. The aspiring artist impresses with his catchy hits like “I Believe” and “Feel Alive”. This is the start of the family music festival “Sun, Beach and Stars”, which is sure to attract many visitors to the coast. If you want to get the best seats, you should leave early.
Versatile music acts in different locations
Things will get exciting in Büsum on July 12th when Marquess creates a great atmosphere in the Watt grandstand. Fans can look forward to exotic pop and Latin sounds, as the band has already enjoyed great success with hits like “El Temperamento” and “Vayamos Compañeros”. “DIE Coverband” will also appear as the opening act, offering a colorful mix of party classics and new hits – a real highlight for everyone who loves a good mood!
But it's not just celebrations in Büsum. Büdelsdorf has two reasons to be happy on July 18th and 19th: “JustToto” and “Freestyle” will create a great atmosphere on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the city’s rights. There are several highlights in August with the SH Netz Cup in Rendsburg, where Max Giesinger will take the stage on August 8th. Sabotage party is guaranteed here! JustToto and Chris Norman are on the program on Saturday, followed by Michy Reincke on Sunday. A real music experience awaits the fans!
Closing party in Pinneberg
The crowning conclusion of the music series will be an event on September 6, 2025 in Pinneberg, which will feature Cassandra Steen and the Horst & Hoof Band. The events will be moderated, in true NDR style, by the well-known faces Horst Hoof and Kristin Recke. The music is not only celebrated locally, but also broadcast on NDR 1 Welle Nord and in Schleswig-Holstein Magazin - so no one is left out.
