Next week the time has finally come: from November 27th to 30th, 2025, the Holstenhallen in Neumünster will be transformed into a true winter wonderland. The Neumünster horse winter offers a colorful mix of pre-Christmas flair, adventure shopping and exciting events for the whole family. Over 60 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation and will enrich the offerings in the halls.
Particular highlights are the licensing of the Trakehner Association's breeding horses and the impressive exhibition “80 Years of the Escape of the Trakehner Horses”. On all days you can look forward to a diverse show program, which includes, among other things, the final of the Kuschel Cup in dressage and jumping. The talented horses that the audience encounters during the Pas de Deux by Lea-Sophie and Melanie Klein provide another show brewing. The two are in great shape under the guidance of Andreas Ostholt.
Family day on the 1st of Advent
The grand finale of the Neumünster Horse Winter takes place on Sunday, November 30th, as German families get in the mood for the first Advent. The family day offers an extensive program that delights children and parents alike. Activities include pony rides with Trakehner ponies, the opportunity to pet horses, and a hobby horsing course. A make-up clown also creates a happy atmosphere.
The event is not only an experience for horse lovers, but all-rounders and a pre-Christmas atmosphere is also guaranteed. While the exhibition can be visited free of charge from Thursday to Saturday, admission on Family Sunday includes both the entire exhibition and the exciting show program.
Diverse offers and enjoyment
In collaboration with Messe & Marketing GmbH and the Trakehner Association, we want to put together an attractive winter exhibition that appeals not only to horse lovers, but also to the whole family. An expansion of the gastronomic offerings in the Holstenhallen ensures culinary well-being, so that visitors do not have to miss out on their palate. The shopping offering will also be expanded and can be found in Halls 4 and 5 as well as in the foyer.
For all those who want to secure their own place at the reins: The auctions of mares, riding horses and foals take place on the third day of the stallion market. In recent years, the Trakehner Stallion Market has attracted participants from around 20 nations - a real international flair in the middle of Neumünster! When broadcasting the events, we cooperate with ClipMyHorse.TV, with the exception of the gala show.
