Bremen celebrates: Millions of highlights at the HOEG summer festival!
The HOEG City Summer Festival has transformed Bremen city center into a pulsating mainland! From June 27th to 29th, 2025, visitors were able to enjoy numerous adventures and unforgettable experiences. Again Weser courier reported that many Bremen residents celebrated in the heart of their city and were carried away by a colorful program.
Six stages provided musical highlights and varied entertainment. A visit to the market square was particularly worthwhile, where bands like the 'Mad Monks', 'Les P'tits fils de Jeanine' and 'Touch of Funk' ensured a good mood. Renowned acts such as 'Flo Mega' and 'Levent Geiger' performed on the Sparkasse Bremen stage, presenting a mixture of indie, folk, punk and electronic music. The Ansgarikirchhof stage was also well occupied with singer-songwriters like 'Songs & Whispers'. Bremer.de also emphasizes that the entire event was designed for all ages and interests.
A celebration for the whole family
Families and children really got their money's worth on the Weser-Kurier children's stage. There were not only musical performances, but also craft activities, a ventriloquist and an exciting science show. The Schnoorviertel offered literary readings by Olaf Kretschmer and Karina Skwirblies, while live street art and a graffiti contest provided creative inspiration in the Hanseatenhof.
Admission was of course free, which made the festival particularly attractive for everyone. The wide range of hands-on activities and artistic performances took festival visitors on an exciting journey that combined art, music and culture in a special way. Visitors were invited to actively participate in what was happening and to enjoy the festival in their own way.
Creativity on all levels
In addition to music, art was in the foreground. Live street art and graffiti contests attracted non-artists who had the opportunity to become creative themselves. This symbiosis of music and art made it clear that Bremen's city center is not only a place to celebrate, but also a space for expression and creativity. As in many other cities, such events are very popular in Bremen, thanks to the commitment of the organizers stadtfeste-in-deutschland.de is supported.
Overall, it showed all guests that Bremen's city center is lively and that there are still many cultural highlights waiting for them. It's sure to be a busy time at this unique summer festival next year!
